springtime unfurling...

Do you ever slow down enough to just take a little time and check out nature's packaging? Spring is a phenomenal time to do just that. Many plants and trees awaken from their slow season and unfurl, unwind and start their show season. Take a close look and be amazed.

Welcome!

Welcome to Talking Fish Austin. This is a purely experimental endeavour. I hope it to be educational (for you and me), thought-provoking, philosophical and fun. It is likely to, at times, seem rudderless. But I have found the quest for information and innovation, indeed, new ways to do things, to be so. So we bounce, we find, we discard, double back, start again, change tacks, shine a new light and keep moving. And we gather information along the way. Some to be used immediately, some is stored for later, for use in a venture that was not even in our realm when we encountered it. So, I guess we are  still  "hunter-gatherers".
Here, you will find ideas, photos, discussion of works-in-progress, and whatever else "floats my boat". Surfing, woodworking, landscaping, plants and photography are likely topics. But really, anything is possible. Keep your eyes and your mind open...
